This has been a fun weekend after a long time. A medley of more fun and less boredom. We attended an open house at Ishi's daycare on Saturday. We have got a good feedback about her. Later Sid left for work and I came back home just on time to take Ishi to her doctor for a vaccination(Typhoid).
In spite of taking an appointment, it took sometime for our turn to come. Ishi behaved like a sweetheart this time with the doctor. Thanks to her teachers for teaching the etiquette. She wished the doctor 'Hi' and happily obliged when she was asked to show her tongue. She dint even cry when the doc examined her with a stethoscope. She slightly cringed when her weight and height was checked. Even when the vaccine was being administered, she cried a bit and stopped the moment the syringe came out.
Once we came back home, we had our lunch and a nap. Evening was full of crafting activity and a walk.
Yesterday was my 'engagement anniversary'. Am so very happy about my life so far with Sid and Ishi around. All three of us had a lot of fun watching movies, playing, etc etc. We went to a temple in the evening. Later went to Westside opened in a newly constructed mall near Shopperstop. We summed it up with a dinner at a small, quiet Gujarati veg restaurant in JPNagar.
This weekend has served as a true example to the saying 'small things make a big difference'.........though there was nothing much that we did during the weekend, the fact that we were all together made it fun and happy. Here is wishing for more such weekends to come ....Amen :-)
